The propane Commission proposes to adopt a modification to the marketing order which went into effect on August 10, 2020. The modification, if adopted, will:

  1. Allocate funding for a limited number of dealer employees to attend CETP 4.1 and 4.2 training, education, and certification.
  2. Enhance marketing to educate and encourage participation for dealers regarding an enhanced rebate program.
  3. Enhance the rebate program by increasing the rebate values.
  4. Allow the commission to add, change, or delete values or elements of the rebate program, marketing program, or scholarship program if there is no modification to the assessment for the marketing order.
  5. There will not be a change in the assessment for this modification.

The hearing will be held September 12, 2022, at 8:00 AM during the SEPA board of directors meeting at Brasstown Valley Resort, 6321 US Highway 76, Young Harris GA. Participants may also attend on Zoom.
